肖刚,中共党员,工学博士,教授,浙江大学求是青年学者、浙江省杰出青年基金获得者。2001年7月获武汉大学学士学位,2006年6月获浙江大学博士学位。2006年6月进入东南大学工作,2008年4月晋升副教授,2009年-2010年赴加拿大大不列颠哥伦比亚大学(UBC)访问进修,2010年11月调入浙江大学,任副教授,2014年12月晋升为教授。现任浙江大学热能工程研究所副所长。
一直从事太阳能热发电、高温集热、热化学储热、布雷顿循环(超临界CO2、空气、多能互补)、斯特林循环、海水淡化等方面的教学和科研工作。以第一/通讯作者发表SCI论文40多篇,SCI他引1200多次。以第一发明人获批国际发明8件(美国5件、日本2件、澳洲1件)、中国发明30多件、软著9件。主持国家自然科学基金4项、国家重点研发计划国际合作项目1项,以及省部级和企业课题多项。
获得2019年度中国电力科学技术人物奖“中国电力优秀青年科技人才奖”、2019年度中国可再生能源学会“优秀青年科技工作人才奖”;获得2019年教育部高等学校科学研究优秀成果奖(科学技术)科学技术进步奖一等奖(6/9)。
编著出版第一部适合能源专业的《太阳能》教材(肖刚、倪明江、岑可法、骆仲泱、程乐鸣),中国电力出版社,2019。出版学术专著《斯特林循环分析与发动机设计》(倪明江、肖刚、岑可法),科学出版社,2019。主编团体标准《塔式太阳能液体介质吸热器单元热性能测试方法》(国家太阳能光热产业技术创新战略联盟标准);作为主要人员起草太阳能相关国家标准。
曾指导大学生获得第四届全国大学生节能减排社会实践与科技竞赛特等奖;曾指导本科生获得“国家级大学生创新创业训练计划项目”2项、获得百篇特优本科生毕业论文(设计)1篇;曾指导多名研究生获得浙江大学优秀毕业研究生等。
兼任中国电机工程学会太阳能热发电专业委员会委员,中国内燃机学会特种发动机分会委员、中国动力工程学会理事、中国电力教育协会能源动力工程学科教学委员会委员、浙江省能源研究会常务理事和副秘书长等。

Professor Gang Xiao
Background
Professor Xiao obtained BSc in Thermal Power Engineering from
Wuhan University of China in 2001, PhD in Engineering Thermophysics
from Zhejiang University of China in 2006.
He joined the School of Energy and Environment of Southeast University
in 2006 and became an associate professor in 2008. In 2009, he
joined the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering of
the University of British Columbia, Canada, as a visiting associate
professor. He came back to China in 2010 and joined the College
of Energy Engineering of Zhejiang University. He became a full
professor at State Key Laboratory of Clean Energy Utilization
of Zhejiang University in 2014.
Research
His research interests focus on renewable energy technologies,
including concentrated solar power (CSP), solar thermal utilization,
biomass thermal conversion.
